About

I am the Director of Studio DQ, with responsibility for the overall creative output and design direction of the studio.

I have over ten years of professional experience of working on London-based projects - on my own ventures as well as multi-unit projects at large interior and architecture practices. During my time at Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and Softroom Architects, I gained experience of commercial hospitality and high-end residential markets, completing projects for Caprice Holdings, including Sexy Fish; many international Jamie Oliver Italian restaurants; the Eurostar VIP lounge in Paris; Wahaca and the Orio Centre food court in Italy.

At Studio DQ, I have developed hospitality and residential projects, working closely with brands like Ennismore (Hoxton and Gleneagles Hotels), Big Mamma Group and private residential clients.

 My passion is for designing spaces that inspire and – why not? – surprise, while remaining firmly grounded in function and, above all, sustainability. For me that means balancing my commitment to the narrative and history of a space with the joy I find in following a flicker of an idea or a moment of spontaneous inspiration. It means maintaining a strong professional equilibrium between creativity and technical expertise: the ability to bring a vision to life with a sketch, and the confidence to manage complex, demanding projects. And it means combining my love for nature – for wide open spaces, the sea, the forest – with the huge professional satisfaction l get from designing for a modern urban environment.
